I would often ponder the meaning of a “good” Catholic. I would ask myself how one should act, say, think, and most importantly, FEEL. These are the redundant questions I ask myself everyday. Sure, I hear Mass, pray to God, take care of my younger brothers and sisters, go to confession… pretty much the “ordinary” Christian life. But, somehow, I felt as if I’m missing out on something more. Then it hit me. Unless one has valued the importance of something will she be able to understand and appreciate it fully. First of all, let me define religion. What is religion? Religion is the acknowledgement of a creature’s dependence on God. It is also the binding force between God and man. We accept that there is someone else who is above all of us; that we depend on God.
