Why Be Catholic
why be catholic? catholocism was the original religion that jesus founded. it is the longest lasting religion, ever, and also the longest lasting orginazation, lasting almost 2000 years! there must be something going on "up above" making sure this religion lasts. all of the catholic popes can be traced down, unbroken, all of the way down to simon-peter. peter's name was originally simon, but jesus changed it to peter, meaning rock or foundation. he was the first pope, the rock of the church. that is other than jesus of course.
catholocism is the real "straight up" religion. if it wasn't, wouldn't it seem slightly ironic that all of this fits into place? that it was the FIRST christian religion? all of the others are simply based from protests to it.
stick with catholocism, and stick with the truth! the catholic religion is a great religion. believe me. if you don't then see for your selves. i have been to other churches of denominations other than catholic, such as baptist...and i think it is the greatest. you could say that i am a traditional catholic. well. nevermind that. i am a traditional catholic. i am very anti-change. some say it;s bad. but the way that peter set it up was the way he intended it to be so if thats how he wanted it , then why change it. so you should really try catholicism. visit the nearest catholic church near you. at the last supper, jesus broke the bread, and said, take this and eat it. this is my body, it shall be given up for you, do this in memory of me. and as far as i know catholics are the only ones who actually do this on a regular, daily, basis. you should be catholic. it goes by the book.
