Wicca is a polytheistic contemporary Pagan religion, also known as witchcraft and the Old Religion, which views deity as goddess and god. It has spiritual roots in the earliest expressions of reverence of nature as a manifestation of the divine. It embraces the practice of "magick" and ideas of reincarnation. "Wicca" is short for the old English term "wiccacraft". Many people do not know anything about this religion except for what they have been told, and they are often misinformed.
