What An Awesome God We Serve

When I saw the topic to write about, I couldn't imagine how I was going to cram everything that God had done in my life into five hundred words! After thinking about it, I think it can be summed up in one word; Blessed. He has blessed my life in so many ways! It's amazing to me that He would want to bless me, out of everyone in the world, but that's how he operates. He's no respector of persons; He doesn't judge me, and that is such an awesome truth!
Throughout junior high and early into high school, things were "iffy." I'd do the church thing sometimes and the "worldly thing" the rest of the time. I have had such awesome influences in my life and have been blessed to always know what was right, but I was left the choice of whether or not to implement that in my life or not. At Christmas of my Sophmore year, I was at a service one evening and pretty much fell on my face crying; all I was thinking was how could I have "let my Father down!?" I knew this wasn't really the case and that he forgave me, but I wanted so much to please Him.
This set me on a new path; a pathway of righteousness. Things have just been like "heaven on earth" ever since then; blessing after blessing. That's not to say that I haven't had tirals, and many many tests, but I have overcome them by the blood of the Lamb!! Where there were yucky, worldly relationships in the past, where Jesus wasn't exactly welcome, God has blessed me with a wonderful man of Christ, who I can talk to and learn about the Lord with every day! Where there was doubt and low self-esteem before, God has filled me with confidence and the true belief that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" A recent occasion that the Lord has worked out (it has to be a miralce, no doubt!) for me, was in the area of what I was to study.
