What Is Religon?

WHAT IS RELIGION? When the word "Religion" is analyzed, it takes on more than one mean to each inividual. Primarily, the Webster's Dictionary meaning defines Religion as belief in and reverence for a supernatural power accepted as the creator and govenor of the universe. Religion has been an important concept of every culture. Throughout history religion has been connected to involvement of worshipping some supernature force, but I do not think it stopped there. In my opinion, religion has also been involves in two other aspects as well. One aspect, we can look at is how religion affected man over the centuries and two, what is the true motivation of its leadership.
