Religion

Why is it that in the kill or be killed world we live if your religion doesn't save you, it kills you? People all over the world practice hundreds of different religions, each one as important to the person as the next. To some the choice of practicing your religion means salvation and self righteousness and to others it means certain death. Most people who practice religion take it very seriously and will protect it to the end, and others simply choose to have no religion at all. Religion can be very beneficial in many ways, but with out the knowledge it can be misused and harmful.

To me God represents all that is good left in life. He offers inspiration and hope in tuff times, and adds meaning to my life. So how is it that religion can mean so much to me and mean absolutely nothing to someone sitting right next to me? The reason is because of a term called sacramental dullness. People all over the globe suffer from this infectious disease. How can so much pain exist in the world if God exists they might ask. Also people now days are just too busy to look to God for help, they are to busy on their cell phones trying to close their next deal. Another possibility could be they just do not know where to look and do not have the knowledge. People seem to only depend on there religion rather than practice and nurture it. They only seem to be religious or pray when they want or need something. If your religion could bail you out of every little problem you had there would be no boundaries, resulting in more problems. Whatever the circumstance may be, religion is slowly fading out of the overly busy average person.

Often we think of little things we take for granted such as food or clothing, but have you ever stopped to think about where you live. We as North Americans are very blessed to live in freedom, where u have the choice to practice any religion you choose, whether is be God, Buddha, or Allah. When you visit...
