In describing the major tenets of the Baháí Faith, Shoghi Effendi (Guardian of the Baháí Faith 1921 – 1957) stated that ”Its teachings revolve around the fundamental principle that religious truth is not absolute but relative, that Divine Revelation is progressive, not final.” The failure to understand religious belief as relative and the consequent general acceptance that it is absolute has been one of the major causes of religious conflict and prejudice in history. ...
