Reason for Everyday (Not Only For The Season) When I was a young girl, my parents always took me to church. I grew up in a Christian home that was of the Anglican denomination (a mix of Catholic and Methodist). We went to church every Sunday and very rarely missed one. When I was about 7 years old, my mother decided that she did not want to go to church anymore thus we, the children, did not have to go either. After a couple of months a cousin of mine asked me to come to her church with her. I agreed. After going to her church, I love everything about it: the people and how they worshiped God, the singing, and the dancing. Everyone just seemed to love God. I began going to church with my cousin and my brothers every Sunday without my parent’s permission (my parents began going with us after about 6 months). It was at that point in my life that I realized that I loved God.
