Number 7
Throughout the history of the earth, the number 7 has been a very reoccurring number and is said to be either lucky. Is this a coincidence or does the number seven really have some sort of power. Seven is considered to be one of the main astrological number. Since 4 lunar phases made a complete lunar cycle of 28 days, each phase was 7 days, which defines the week and there are seven stars in the Pleides. (Celestial Sevens) There are seven stars in the Big Dipper, the most prominent of the "indestructible" stars, the circumpolar. There are seven colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. (Celestial Sevens) During ancient times, people believed in only 7 planets, and each planet represented each day of the week. Sunday was known as the sun, Monday was know was the moon, Tuesday was know as Mars, Wednesday was known was Mercury, Thursday was known was known as Jupiter, Friday was known was Venus and Saturday was known as Saturn/ It is interesting to see the number seven come up so many times when it comes to astrology. The "Gods'" must favour the number 7 since it comes up a lot in astrology. Speaking of "God", according to the Catholic beliefs, the world was created in 7 days. Each day was an act of creation. Day one was the creation of light, day two was the creation of firmament, day three was the creation of plants, day four was the creation of heavenly bodies, day five was the creation of fish & fowl, day six was the creation of animals & humans, and day seven was the creation of rest. This explains why people go to church of Sunday to rest and listen to the word of God. An alternative is to watch Sunday Football when the NFL season is on. According to the Old Testament of the Hold Bible, recognizes the number 7 as a number that represents wisdom in the Bible, it states, "Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars"( Proverbs 9:1).
