Morality has to do with the set of values and principles that guide someone’s choices about what kind of person he or she is becoming. As a teen or preteen, one has choices to make in life. It depends upon that person to make the moral or immoral decision. There are also factors that can affect these choices in life. Adolescents need good role models in their life for this very reason. Most indecent acts committed by teens start with lying. For most people lying starts at a very young age. . Sadly it is habit-forming. Once a person realizes they can escape blame by telling a simple lie they will find themselves doing it time and time again. We, as Christian, must follow Psalm 34:13 which states, "Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies." Our parents are the first persons to which we lie. As once mentors and respected figures in the household, they are now what we considered the enemy as they try to protect us from all the evils of the world.
