God Chose Man As Head Of Household
God chose man as Head of Household
Women are not made equal to men, for the man is to be the head of the household. God made the man to be above the woman. The bible clearly tells us that “Wives submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and he is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.”
Through our understanding that this is the way God intended it to be even from the very beginning we have a knowledge that is to our benefit. God from the very beginning made us different. God created Adam first in his image. The bible says “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore who ever resist the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.” I am not one to try to buck against God therefore if I read his word and obey what he commands than I know that I am to follow what my husband says. Because he is the leader and I am not.
The Bible tells us that if we try to be above the man that we are being disobedient to God. I believe that if God wanted us to be equal he would have created us together, but he did not. He made Adam and took his rib to make Eve. He made Eve as a gift for Adam to keep him from being lonely. For many years families followed this. But in the later part of the twentieth century women do not only want to be the boss but they are demanding that this is the way that it will be. Women want more rights and they demand to have just as much power as men do. At work I see nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be the boss if she is qualified she should have the job. But she should not lie or shame men to get there. That is a sin.
