Doomed to instinct

While on the surface it appears that modern society has advanced within the past 3,000 years, strikingly similar cultural traits seem to prove themselves instinctive. It was during this time period that the English discovered Roanoke Island. However, it was not until March 25, 1584 that the significant history of Roanoke was made with the re-issuing of the charter to Sir Walter Raleigh. The Journeyof which, being expected to fish and grow crops to feed themselves, and to trade with the Indians. Lost at Sea? March 1607 It has been approximately three months since the London Company’s first ship set sail to the Americas, which was originally the estimated time of arrival. As a member of its crew, I have watched the men become anxious at the prospect of being lost.
