Aspects Of Organized Religion

Organized religion - love it or leave it, it's a crucial part of human society. That's right, human society, not American society. Religion is one of the main sources of controversy, one of the main sources of war. The Holocaust, the Crusades, the persecution of Christians, the Spanish Inquisition ... all lead to the battle over religion. There are thousands, millions, thousands of millions of opinions on organized religion, which lead to the very core of our existence. Is there a God? Where do our souls go when we depart from our earth? Religion is a powerful thing. And mankind has adpated it, with documentation from the Bible itself, the Torrah, from God to Allah to Buddha. Philosophers, mainly scholars of Nietsche, believe organized religion is a weak and futile attempt of man to simply believe in something and worship it out of fear of the unknown. We humans are creatures of organization -organized societies, organized crime, and organized religion. We simply cannot live with the idea that there are things we cannot grasp and things we cannt control. Thus, we have created our gods and idols to simply sustain our need of rules and regulations to live by, something we can seek out in times of guilt and shame. This is simply the beginning of the war on religion, and those were just a few aspects. In this entire universe, our world, the kingdom of God perhaps, out entities are unknown mysteries that man has yet to discvoer and most likely never will. Religion is a sacred part of human civilization, and of course the most controversial.
