Sanclemente, Maria Buzz Hoon April 10, 2003 Assignment #7 The commercial I chose for this assignment was the new Coca-Cola ad. I selected this ad because of its uniqueness, and portrayal of a young beautiful Hispanic icon. Penelope Cruz is the focus of the ad and is recognized as a well known actress, and a perfect representative for this product both by the Hispanic and American markets. She is the main character in the ad, and she walks into a restaurant. The men there see her walk in and by the way they are gawking at her, you can tell they think she’s really attractive.
