Stanley's Monologue

[The two women are standing inside the bedroom. Blanche starts hearing the Polka music again. When suddenly, Stanley kicks the door open. He looks directly into Blanche's eyes with a grim look on his face. Blanche immediately looks the other way, Stanley quickly grabs her arm firmly.]

Stanley:
If you think I don't know what youre up to Blanche your wrong. I know what your type wants and your not gonna get it. You think u can come in here and fool us all with me standin there like a pushover ! No honey your wrong I know everythin about you, and I know what you damn southern women do. If your thinkin' you can come into my home and mess with my womans' head with all that bullshit nuinsance of yours , well think again! I aint gonna stand here and leave you drink my booze and take over my bathroom, you think I dunno whereall that liquor goes, hell you drink like an old man losin in a poker game. You're an ungrateful bitch u know that hun'. I've been tryin to stay quiet and outt your way, but you just keep pushin me to do somethin that will hurt us both Blnache. Im sorry Stella darlin but you need to know [He turns and looks deeply into Stellas eyes]But Blanches' stories have been nuthin but goddam lies, ever since she came here Blanche! [He turns back to Stella, once more with a look of hatred and disgust] But I was never fooled by your fancy talk and fancy clothes. Those good for nuthin baths you take all day didn't even fool me one bit, I know what your tryin to pull and im tellin ya it aint gonna work, not in this house it wont ! I know all bout your adventures with that young kid you were teaching and I also know all bout the days you spent in that damned Flamingo hotel an I even talked to one of the men you entertained while you were there.
