Michael Chapman is known for many films such as “Taxi Driver”, “The Lost Boys”, “The Fugitive”, and “Six Days Seven Nights”. ... Perhaps one of Chapman’s most widely recognized films was the classic, “Taxi Driver” which he worked on in 1976. ... Michael Chapman states that “Taxi Driver” is probably the best film that he has ever worked on. However, he clearly points out that “it’s quite depressing to think that the greatest thing I’ve ever done was 25 years ago…” Even though “Taxi Driver” may have been made over 25 years ago, it clearly demonstrates that the cinematography is undeniable an important aspect to the film as a whole. visual aspects filmmaking, including lighting, perspective, composition and framing, movement, and overall presentation.
