Lola Rennt oder German Groundhog’s Day?
Much like “Sliding Doors”, “Groundhog Day” or “Przypadek (Blind Chance)”, the movie “Lola Rennt” by Tom Tykwer jumps right into the action without setting up any of the character development. The main protagonist, Lola, must produce 100,000 DM and save her boyfriend within a twenty minute timeframe.
