Review Of Daredevil
DAREDEVIL
Rating: Poor
The first thing that struck me about superheroes even before the underwear jokes came up was the tight suits. What’s it with superhuman strength and tight fitting clothing? And also the masks that don’t really conceal anything.
Daredevil is a stranger in these streets. The Indian audience haven’t really heard of most of the other Marvel Comic heroes apart from the customary ones. No, I’m not getting at the characters the comics brought in or their attributes or the concept that it addresses. It’s the outrageous desuetude of that. That and a lot of other discrepancies. The film stuffs in too many characters and eventually most of them land with a miniscule part that suggests a very meretricious aspect to it. Again it strays away from the book characteristics. For instance the character of ‘Bullseye’ played by Colin Farrell. The last time I checked...
