Remember the Titans This is a story of leadership, loyalty, and taking a chance to achieve greatness despite outdated standards of racial equality still in effect. The setting is volatile 1971 and integration has just started, the place is Virginia (not the most compassionate state towards racial equality). The team is the Titans, the school T.C. Williams of Alexandria Virginia. The boys first go off to summer camp, where through horrible training, and forced friendship the black kids and white kids start to get along. Things were going good too, until they had to go back from their football utopia, back to petty differences blown out proportion, peer pressure, and bad adult influences on this issue.
