Modern Day Fairytale
This movie is a Hallmark Hall A Fame Collection classic, the title of the movie is The Love Letter, based on the short story by Jack Finney. The Love Letter is a romantic drama. The Love Letter is about a modern day man who falls in love with a old fashioned woman who lived in 1863. The couple corresponds through a desk and a pre-civil war post office. This relationship definets all laws of nature, and continues till the very end, despite some very difficult obstacles. The Love Letter has great costumes, a great plot and great charters. This is a great movie. Every person should see this movie and I am sure anyone can agree with me on this.
The Love Letter stars several great actors and several astonishing actresses. Campbell Scott plays the main charter Scott Corrigan. Jennifer Jason Leigh plays the marvoulsios Elizabeth "Lizzy" Whitcomb. David Dukes plays the promising bachelor Mr. Everet Regal. These are the main charters. Estelle Parsons, Daphne Ashbrook, Myra Carter, Gerrit Graham, Irma P Hail and Richard Woods also star in the movie.
The Love Letter's actors and actresses wear great costums. From the start of this great film the charters are dressed superheb. Miss Elizabeth Whitcomb's dresses are 1860's fashions, they are truly gorjiuce. Father is always wearing a 1860's suit including top hat. Mr. Regal is to wearing a similar suit and top hat, but Mr. Regal also carries a cane from the 1860's. The servent Maggie (Lizzy's serrvent) is also dressed in typical clothing of the 1860's. The modern setting of people are dressed in modern day clothing. Claireece (Lizzy's great granddaughter) is dressed in old woman tyupe clothing. Scott Corigan is dressed in modern day jeans and shirts. Scott also wore very 1990's styles of clothing. In several sences Scott wore a baseball style cap and a winter jacket which were very modern day. Debrha (Scott's finaces) was always dressed in typical middle aged clothing.
