Memento

Memory is the mental system for receiving, encoding, storing, organizing, altering, and retrieving information. Lenny’s memory was unable to successfully perform all of these functions due to his injury. His hippocampus, which handles memory consolidation, was severely damaged. This disabled him to form long term memories. His condition is known as anterograde amnesia.
