Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates

Fran, she is the ugly duckling of the dance studio where Scott is the local hero and brightest hop. Although she has been dancing fot two years she has not yet progressed to dancing with a male partner. She is of Spanish origin but does not reveal her surname at first, so obviously want to keep her background a secret. Because of her background she has a love of flamenco rhythms which she shares with Scott. When he is deserted by his partner, she offers to dance with him. When he at first refuses, she whows her passionate, rebellious nature and challenges him. She proves that she has something to offer him and works hard to transform herself into a truly great dancing parner, ver much in tune with the ideals and principles that Scott beleives in. Ofcourse there are set backs which always happens in movies in there are set backs to the achievement of her goals and ambition, but she faces these with strength and determination, she is a very excellent example of someone who is oppressed, especially by the other women at the studio, cause of her back ground and her gauch appearance, bu when given a chance is able to blossom into a successfuland talented person who blows all away and in the end they fall in love...scott hastings, he is the hero of the film, the talented hyoung dancer who has grown bored of the regimented dance steps approved of by thte regional ballroom dancing association.
