John Q Review

The movie "John Q", that was written by James Kearns and directed by Nick Cassavetes is an exhilarating drama that was based on a real life story. The movie was brilliant portrayed through the main characters of John Quincy Archibald (Denzel Washington) and his family, wife Denise Archibald (Kimberley Elise) and, son Mike Archibald (Daniel E Smith) as they struggle to cope in difficult economic times.

John Archibald, though dealing with economic strife would not stop at any cost to have his sons heart replaced. Mr. Archibald was brought to the point where he had no choice but to take the situation into his own hands and put at risk not only his life and his sons', but also the life of everyone inside the hospital.
The other main character in the movie was Robert Duvall, who played a veteran police officer that was trying talk down Denzel Washington to end the standoff quietly and quickly. This was to no avail because Ray Liotta, who plays as the Chief of Police, was more concerned about the election year and his political media image, rather than...
