Harry Potter
I think that movie directors have once again managed to brake down the wonderful image a great book has given us. First off, the Dursleys are blonde in the book, brunette in he movie. This might seem like an insignificant detail, but it isn't. It shows Harry as a stranger in a physical way, the only brunette among the blondes. Also, the cast was appalling. Daniel Radcliffe was hitting puberty, and his unconvincing meet with Voldermort was to cry for. Rupert Grint's performance was disastrous since he only put on one face in the whole movie: a very pathetic, scared-wanna be look. I also think that not showing the inside of the different shops in the very popular Diagon Alley was a mistake and made the movie look cheap and tacky. With all the money the movie made, couldn't it have been a bit more creative? Also introducing Malfoy to Potter in Hogwarts was a mistake since it was a much better introduction in Madam Malkin's Robes for all Occasions. Also, neglecting to put Snape's challenge of the bottles when the threesome go looking for the stone was very bad because it undermined Hermione. Also, in the second book, showing Dobby as an under-fed, beaten-up, mixed-breed dog was a terrible thing to do. This clearly shows the lack of imagination of the producers and directors. We can only pray for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Thank God Chris Colombus has left. That is all for these last words left.
