Harts War
Hart's War
The production for Hart's War started on January 25th, 2001 and wrapped up on May 10th 2001. Five major characters in this movie were Lt. Tommy Hart, Col. William McNamara, Lt. Lincoln Scott, Staff Sgt. Vic W. Bedford, and Col. Werner Visser. These five men are all living in Stalag 6A, a prison camp run by German soldiers, during WWII (1939-1945).

Terrance Howard portrays Lt. Lincoln Scott. Scott is an African American Tuskegee airman, who later in the story is accused of murder and placed on trial, his fate being judged by white soldiers, most of which were prejudice towards blacks. Lt. Scott was concerned that his family, particularly his son, would see him as an honorable man. Cole Hauser portrays the role of Staff Sgt. Vic W. Bedford, who instigated prejudice against the black officers in the barrack. He worked for the Germans spreading discord and disharmony in the camp. Marcel Iures portrays Col. Werner Visser, the camp commander who gives everyone their orders. The first impression of Visser is that he is stern and wants to be in total control of all things in the camp. We later learn that he enjoys being deceptive while playing mind games on the soldiers.
During WWII many American soldiers were captured by German soldiers dressed as Americans. During the Battle of the Bulge, English speaking Germans...
