Dead Poet Society

Keating a British romantic poet wrote, "There is a time for daring and a time for caution, and wise man knows the difference." This means that in our lives we are going to be presented with situations, and if we are wise enough we will know when to take a dare and when to be cautious. "The Dead Poet's Society" is a movie about a group of kids. In this movie there were many different points of conflict. One major conflict was with Knox and his father.In the movie dead poet society the children are bound by strict rules and even stricter parents, to ensure they do not waste there lives on pety things such as the arts and music. Therefore, Neil Perry did not "believe" in this so called school code or belief system he did the only thing he could do... His parents go further to blame the new teacher for his sons action to ensure themselves peace with Neil's suicide. Ched turns in the boys in order to save himself, the other boys do not agree with him but still blamed the teacher.The poets are dead; Transcendentalism lives on
Most people look down upon Transcendentalism because they do not know what it means. Transcendentalism is a belief in a higher reality than that found in sense experience, or belief in a higher kind of knowledge than achieved by human reason.
in conclusion, the author believes that the resolion to sovling neils problem was to kill himself in order for the other boys to escape the grasp in which neil and the other boys had been in.
