This 1989 movie is about an English teacher, Mr. Keating, (Robin Williams) who wants to teach the students "free thinking." That is pretty much against anything this school for boys has ever done--everything is done the same. They learn what they need, without exploring all the other possibilities. The students are basically cooped up when in typical classrooms; very strict teaching. The students are shocked at Mr. Keating's new way of teaching, but soon become inspired by him. The adults on the other hand, do not think it's a good idea.
