“Black Hawk Down” is a non-fiction story about war. It is a story about the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia, Africa that took place on October 3, 1993. The battle involved U.S. Army Rangers, Delta Force Operators, Navy SEALS and other U.S. Special Forces troops against thousands of very angry Somalis. The mission of the soldiers on that day was to batter a building containing two of a local warlord's top lieutenants. The movie was called “Black Hawk Down”, because there were a number of Black Hawk Choppers who participated in the battle and two of the Choppers have been hit by an RPG and Crashed.
