Brazil. 10 technical shots. At the beginning of the film the false arrest of the character "Buttle" takes place. Buttle is mistaken for a terrorist. On the sixth minute of the film the man in charge of the arrest hands a receipt to Buttle's wife. It is a medium long shot, where both content and context are given. It is also a straight-on, which means that the camera is located at the same level as the object of the shot. This shot implies that we live in a system where a piece of paper can be as important as a human being. Nine minutes into the film, we see a close-up shot of people in the Ministry of Information watching movie on their video screens rather than doing their work.
