Amelie

Life as we know it can seem to slow down to a crawl or take off down the bunny
trail like a rocket. Whatever the case, time is a very important aspect to us (humanity). In the end it all seemed to go by so fast (So I hear). So here we have Amelie, a young girl with love in her eye and heart. I happened to like this movie a great deal. For a many number of reasons. Eight of which are the most important to me and shall be explained in the continuation of words and phrases by yours truly.

your going to school or shopping at a mall. Now truthfully you will not effect all these people but the ones you come in contact with may change you the same way you will change them. Friendless Amelie stands on a bridge watching her one and only friend get tossed away. This very little moment in Amelie's life reflects that of which is now her loveless lifestyle. Amelie her self through out the film spent all her time helping individuals and then throwing them away again as if to think they would be better with out her. I was a little upset when Amelie did not have the guts to talk to the man she so very much helped reconnect with his childhood. Who is to say he would have been better off with out knowing where the old box came from. The impact on others Amelie had was a positive one, even when her actions were negative, and I it helped her grow as well.

of the great city it crates an almost life like perspective of Paris. The people, the buildings, the culture take form as any character would. The biggest example of this is the montage of orgasms as Amelie over looks the city. We get to know a lot of the characters, more...
