a midsummer nights dream

A midsummer night's dream is thoguht to be one of Shakespeares strangest comedies, but by far one of the most interesting, because he combines humour and love in a very clever way. The audience in Elizabethan times would have been able to relate to alot of the characters in the play, so therefore would be amused, because there are rich and poor in the play. Love is the overriding theme, and the play tackles the problem of false love and infactuation.
