After a long exhausting day, I lay down on my bed and looked at my senior yearbook picture and I realized how much I had grown and changed in the last couple of years not only physically, but also emotionally. I have been living alone in the United States since my sophomore year in high school, disliking the education system in Korea. My family was happy where they were and I didn¡¯t want to take their happiness away. Although living alone as a teenager was not an easy thing, I have definitely benefited from the experience. Food is the essence of life; I cannot live without it. Food always magically appeared on my dining table or from the drive-through until the day I found myself living alone.
