This is totally ironic, as at this second I'm listening to "Sweet Child O'Mine," G'n'R *sniff*.
"Abortion is murder!" "Would you kill your four-year-old child?" "Adopt!" versus "It's not living" and "Would you want to be pregnant so young?"
What if I was raped? Should I be forced to give birth to my attacker's child? Every time I saw my child, I would see the face of my attacker. Also, it's not the child of the man I love--why should I have to carry it?
What if a girl is knocked up at a young age? I know, they should keep their legs shut, but shit happens. If her frame is small enough that the baby will endanger her life, why should the government force her to carry it to term?
I have metal rods in my back, from a surgery to correct a defect. I'm more than willing to bet a pregnancy any time soon will endanger my life. So, you anti-abortionists, whose life is more valuable? Mine or my unborn child's? The life of someone who's been on this planet for a long time, and obviously is living, or something that isn't even alive? Well? Hmmm?
It's my body. Why does the government get to dictate what I do with it? Shouldn't that be my decision to make?
Anyways, scientific research has proven that the baby is not alive until after the fifth month. Since it is not alive, how is it murder? You're confusing me.
