From time to time, absolute strangers felt that they had to remind me that I was not one of them by stretching their eyes and saying offensive words such as: "Go back to the jungle you have come from." Although I was a human being, I was different. Nevertheless, I should say that the racial issue was not a problem during my childhood. Everyday I went to school with Bulgarian children and went home to a Vietnamese family.
