In the book Both Sides Now there is a young girl that has to deal with the fact that her mother has breast cancer. Young Madaline finds out that her mother has breast cancer when she was 16. Madaline does not believe that this happened to her mother, the president of the of everthing that she was involed in. Madaline tries to help her mother through the kemo.
