Coming to America Hello, My name is Edward Steiner and I was born to German-Jewish parents on November 1, 1866 in Slovakia. In the late 1880’s I Iived in New York City, and then I migrated deep into America's heartland as a student, minister, and professor. This wondrous journey began in Pittsburgh. Here in Pittsburgh, is where I dreamed of going to Princeton University while working at Carnegie Steel. Although I had good dreams, my thoughts of American women were, rich. Long before I came to the America's I said that I would come here just to marry a rich woman, which now I think was pretty selfish and harsh to say about them. Sometimes I may be rude to others if I feel they don't reach up to the standards that I might expect in a person, but I don't go around saying things to everyone, I just keep it to myself. I will say it to the person then not talk about it anymore. I know that it is very inconsiderate but it has happened to me once before in my past. The one thing that I absolutely do not believe in is violence.
