The biggest different between the US and Taiwanese education system is that US education is administer by state. The local community plays a major role in deciding the school curriculum, textbooks and teaching materials, and the budget , which are not allocate have a bigger say over local education than the federal government. The content and quality of education therefore vary from region to region.
