We learned in class before birth control prospered in the 20th century women would become pregnant on a regular basis. The birth control pill and condom start to be used on a regular basis in this country and around the world. Many devoted Catholics in the world opposed the birth control pill because it would emulate pregnancy in women. ... Both the condom and the pill would reduce pregnancies around the world and help to stop many unwanted births. ... However in the early 20th century many traditional practices that made women appear secondary to men have been outlawed. ...
