Introduction In this paper, I am going to discuss the priority care and management of patients who are diagnosed as morbidly obese. I will explain the pathophysiology of this disease, along with ways to prevent and treat it. This semester in clinical, I cared for an obese client. L.H. is a 21 year old female who has been overweight since the age of eight. She is 5’6” tall and weighs 322 pounds. She has a BMI of 52.
