Animal rights

The ever-controversial issue on whether animals should have the same rights as human beings have been talked about for quite some years. As humans, we have fought for our rights for a long time. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are proof of the entire struggle we had to go through. ... But what makes us so special that we rights that are better than other animals? ... I don’t think anything established us to have moral rights rather; I think as time went by we gave moral rights to ourselves. I guess every individual, as a human being thought they were important so therefore the only way we can live in harmony is if everybody had some form of rights. I don’t have any scientific proof of why we have moral rights I just know that being the smartest and powerful mammals on earth gives us that right. We can almost do whatever we want, and to establish the clause that we are the strongest and important we have rights. No one wants to abuse these rights so being the caring humans that we are; many years of conditioning have established what is moral and what is immoral, and the only way we can live happy and equal lives is having moral rights as humans that we have to follow. ... A pecking order was established amongst the dinosaur, which was some form of rights.
