Marbury v. Madison

Marbury v. Madison A major reason for the flexibility of the constitution has been the system of judicial review, which exists in document largely by implication but has nevertheless functioned with enormous effectiveness. This short paper deals with one of the great landmarks in the development of the power of the Supreme Court to interpret the meaning of the constitution and thus to define the power of both the federal government and the states. And what I thought to be the most interesting part of this paper were the events leading up to the case and why such a small case had such a huge effect.
