MY LISCENCE
Driving license Years I have spent in the dark confines of the prison I was born into. Actually, the prison everyone is born into. You know the one, “Mom, can you take me here?” “Dad, can you take me there?” the constant battle against parent fatigue and wasted gas. Typical thirteen year old prison. My prison was different though. Instead of parent fatigue, I battled my mother’s social anxiety disorder and instead of wasted gas, I combated a wasted stepfather. My one escape was school. There I had friends who cared about me and actually wanted to spend time with me.
