christmas then and now
Lights, presents, Christmas, Santa Clause! ... I would look forward to Christmas every year as most children do. I could not wait until Christmas Eve so that I could stay up all-night and open one portion of my presents and then go and get ready for bed. ... I would wake up bright and early on Christmas morning and run back into the living room where the Christmas tree was and there they were, my presents for Santa Clause. ... I have to admit though every since that changed Christmas has not been the same. Once my belief in Santa Clause was gone Christmas just was not the same. ... When I was a little girl Christmas was one of the best days and now it just is not so exciting anymore.
