Who Is A Hero

Superhuman or not, a hero is anyone who risks their life for the benefits of others or a person who has accomplishment the unthinkable. A hero stands out above others for their courageousness, bravery, and success. A hero is not an average person. No one knows if they are ever going to be a hero. Heroes aren't planned before hand. Heroes show up within a person when the time is needed.
Kurt Warner, who many may not think is a hero, but to his teammates he was nothing less on January 30, 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia. It was Super Bowl XXXIV and he was making his prime-time NFL debut, Kurt Warner passed for 414 yards smashing Joe Montana's old Super Bowl record of 357 yards. He won Most Valuable Player honors as the Rams defeated the Tennessee Titans 23-16 in Super Bowl XXXIV. He who threw two touchdown passes including the game winning score in which he fired a deep pass down the right sideline to Isaac Bruce, who caught the ball at the Tennessee Titan's 38 yard line, cut toward the inside, and outran the defense to the end zone to give the Rams a 23-16 lead with 1:54 left. Kurt Warner saved the day without him the Rams would not have been able to win. That's why he is a hero to his teammates, coaches, owners, fans, and family.
Harriet Tubman was an African-American woman with unbelievable bravery and courage. She cared for others as much as herself. She was a leader on the Underground Railroad in the 1850's. She risked her life to free slaves from the south. After freeing herself she went back to save other members of her family. It was told that she freed over 300 slaves. She was a woman of high spiritual nature with great determination. She had confidence that God would help her throughout her efforts. She had great success and at times she would be absent for weeks.
