Palestine Liberation Organisation

The Palestine Liberation Organisation 1. Several reasons are given to explain why the Six-Day War was a turning point for the Palestinians. Select what you think are the three most important reasons and explain why.  Egypt and Syria had provided support for the PLO. After the Six-Day War they both became weaker by their loses in the war. Egypt and Syria were now more concerned about the land they had lost to Israel, than the Palestinian refugees. This was a turning point for the Palestinians because they realised that they couldn’t always rely on the other Arab countries and that the only way they could win back their land was to fight for it them selves.
