Lately, it seems as though there is a new school shooting in the news everyday. ... Parents now have to worry when sending their children to school each morning, for they may never return. Schools need to take major action to stop shootings, because they are predicted to increase dramatically (Bonilla 31). Even if this prediction is false, one more school shooting is too many.

If a child shows any of these warning signs, they could just be the next school shooter. ... This is because their peers do not socially accept them at school. ... If kids could learn to be more accepting towards each other, some school shootings could be prevented.
No one knows what really motivates a student to bring a gun to school, and all cases are different, but there are several factors that may push them to become criminals.
