Rocky Roads
Disagreements cause headaches, trouble, and a lot of upsetting conversations. I have learned over the course of time that arguing with people is acceptable, but it is never acceptable to argue with the law. Rachel Lockett--my best friend--and I, have always been known to have a lead foot--because we’ve never gotten caught, we thought we were invincible, and sometimes thinking that you are invincible causes your downfall. We decided that we needed to have one last road trip, one last hoorah before college started because we wouldn’t be seeing each other again until Christmas. So, on a moment’s notice, we packed up the Woo, Rachel’s car, and left for Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We didn’t have much time to spend there because we both had to work on Sunday around 4 o’clock pm; we were in a hurry to have fun and make the most of our time together! Well, three hours started to be a long drive in the first five minutes. We decided to speed up a little bit--no cop would pull us over for going ten miles per hour over the speed limit, right? Right. Well, eventually, we were going about one hundred miles per hour, and we got to Orlando in about an hour and a half. Yes! It was time to have fun!
