MISERY,
A 1990 movie production, based on the Stephen King novel called ‘Misery’, is a huge hit in the box office and book stores. The antagonist in the movie is Annie. When the stereotypical “bad guys” Annie, the antagonist in ‘Misery is a multidimensional character. There is more to her than the naked eye can see. Her mood swings and split personality awake the protagonist, when he gets ‘rescued’ by Annie and taken into her home, to care for. Paul Sheldon the antagonist gets rescued by Annie and gets taken into her home to recover from his wounds. The antagonist in the story starts of being a nice sincere lady, but a few days later reveals her mysterious, devious side to her. She has isolated herself for many years, which would leave to her mental health problem, of being almost a terrorist against her number one hero/author.
