Scholarship essay

During my time at Towson University, I have learned many lessons. Lessons in math, science, statistics, and of course my major, Psychology were all very important, but even more useful were the things I learned about myself; the talents and gifts that I possessed, and my determination to help others and do something positive with my future. In class, I accumulated a great deal of book knowledge on Psychology and many other topics, attaining an overall GPA of 3.347 and achieving Dean’s List status on three separate occasions. Outside of class, I learned about people. While there’s no number or score to represent the knowledge gained outside of class, my time volunteering at Lehman School in Lakewood, New Jersey has been utterly fulfilling.
