To Reach The Unreachable Star
"Ever and always I'll try till I'm laid to my rest, striving on no matter how hopeless, I will always be true to this glorious quest! To dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe, to bear with unbearable sorrow, with courage to run where the brave dare not go. Ever and always I'm striving to right the unrightable wrong. To try when my arms are too weary, to reach the unreachable star, this is my quest, ever my quest, to follow that star! No matter how hopeless, no matter how far! To fight for the right without question or pause and willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause. I know, if I'll only be true to this glorious quest, my heart will be peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest. And the world will be better for this. That one man scorn and covered with scars, cause he drove with his last ounce of courage to reach the unreachable star. Though I'm covered with scars I'll press onward no matter how hopeless, no matter how far! My quest is to follow that star! Ever unto this glorious quest, to reach the unreachable star!" Defeating evil giants, putting out fires and flying to mars are just a few of the ever-popular childhood dreams. As a young child, I had these same aspirations and even today as an older child or as some may say "young adult", I have these sentiments.
